Happened to me too... After 5 hours at 90%. Then it took another 3 hours to revert...

1.Pull the plug while updating.
2.Restart with the linux system of choice.
3.Delete a line in a file (i forgot which one)
4.Restart
5.Profit?????

@Gregozor2121 Yeah, I guess deleting Windows\SoftwareDistribution folder works, but fortunately I didn't run into infinte update loop
