Look at what I just found reorganizing my closet!
Ubuntu 5.10 from when they actually used to mail a free physical copy to try it. It's the third release of the OS and the one that started the alphabetical naming convention with Breezy Badger. Might give it a nostalgic try tomorrow 😁

    I've got like 3 or 4 copies of Red Hat like 3 somewhere in my closet.

    @TobyAsE "Hey! You're quite old!"

    I remember having so many of these... I was young and poor (poorer?), So getting these was just wonderful.

    Cool. I still have a big box copy of Mandrake 6.0 that I bought in '99.

    Mine first and last ever received is 8.10. But it all started with some RedHat Linux from Chip magazine. It booted to shell and you have to start KDE and X by hand if you wanted... What a time to be alive todsy where nrarly all works out of box.
