    Monopoly is never a good thing. Hopefully Mozilla will never ditch Gecko.

    @lamka02sk 100% agree but I consider it a good thing because of how popular chrome is, edge was never even close to being a legitimate competitor to chrome.

    It was wasted time for Microsoft to be putting effort into there own web engine to compete with an ultimately "better" engine by a company with more experience.

    If a monopoly was to happen it would be pretty much the death of user opinion for sure

    @PonySlaystation yep it's chromium based, not chrome

    @irene and also google is the new ie, providing their own web standards and some chrome only stuff... but it's fine because is google not ms /s

    @dontbeevil exactly they are just pushing their own stardards and use them to make a lot of Chrome only websites...
