Does this "person you would like to see" thing have an element of the supernatural to it? As in, is it a case of, just before you snuff it, you're magically transported to wherever that person is so you can have one final, profound conversation with them? Or maybe empty a bucket of shit over their head?

If so, I have quite a good list of names.

Will eat sushi that person next Saturday :)

Weekend plans, literally going slow. I will add a very fancy unique bot to Snek. It's an enterprise deep search. I bought 1 billion token for it. It eats a lot. Implementing not hard. Found this gem, it's actually oldschool. It seemed some people already had neural search back in 2020. Big wow.

I was just wondering how we could prevent someone from committing such a heinous act. Did they do it because they hated their life, or because they were searching for a new one?

We have suicide prevention hotlines, music, and support systems, what not... yet people still go through with it or struggle with the urge

W/ Kurt - the only reasonable approach I see would be to get in there, take away the gun, if necessary, && then just ask the guy what's going on.

He would know best what was going on w/ him, so unless you heard his side, his reasons, there is just guesswork.

&& I do _hate_ guesswork.

IMHO, there can be two reasons:

No matter how much others tried to help, he knew there was no escape.

He might have asked for help but didn’t receive any, which caused trauma.
