when my relatives know I'm studying IT:
"ooh, did you know that this guy made this and become rich, and this guy made this app and is rich now too, so why haven't you made anything yet?"

Ppl think you only need a good idea to get rich but devs are pretty much like construction workers, you cant just have a man build a whole building

In some exceptions, it is that simple, you just need people to blindly share your simple addictive app/game, but again...these cases are kind of rare...usually you need to pay money for publicity.

@VenomCLC well, that is true. It could be just a simple thing, but is very popular with the users. But its pretty hard to predict just what is it that will be a hit with the users. plus my relatives seem to be of the opinion that making a great app/game etc should be easy and would only take me a few months at most haha
