Is it weird to try to find the perfect girl by writing a script that finds out what person has most in common with me by searching through all fb / instagram pages I follow and tracking a score for all the other people that follow the same pages?

    That's a bit weird, yes. Also keep in mind people are rarely who they try to seem like they are online ๐Ÿ™ƒ you'd probably have better success with finding someone interesting and talking to them. Also expecting anyone to be the perfect match for you is unrealistic. How could you ever match perfectly in every single aspect without being the same person? ๐Ÿ˜‚

    What you are actually searching for is a buddy that shares your hobbies, not the "perfect girl".

    @TobiSGD I don’t need a buddy.. i need a girlfriend.. that likes to watch hours of top gear, Silicon Valley and Rick and morty with me :)

    But yeah, I think @Elyz might have a valid point.. it doesn’t say enough about a person.. I need to figure out what they hate as well.. thanks for the hint๐Ÿคช

    @CoffeeNcode unfortunately in real life it does not even not work but it doesn’t even work to try to get to know someone..

    @CoffeeNcode maybe.. new country, job and mentality to me right now anyway (mainly because of this), hope I’ll make some good experiences here..

    In Switzerland I can’t even ask a girl what time it is cause she thinks I just wanna ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ‘Œ..

    @CoffeeNcode yeah..

    Just write a function that returns "Emily Ratajkowski". Plain easy.

    Following the same pages != sharing the same interests or being an ideal partner, and if you're seriously looking for a partner based on facebook likes I have some bad news for you.
    Yes, getting to know people can be hard, especially if you're not used to it, but you won't achieve much if you don't go out of your comfort zone and try. What's the worst that could happen, anyway? They say no, and you keep on looking for someone more interesting.
    The more you enclose yourself in your shell, the worse you make it for yourself, and the more opportunities you miss because you were too busy deciding on how to rank people based on arbitrary numbers.
    So go out, explore the world, write your own adventure, and you'll have plenty of stories to tell the next time you're talking to a cute girl ;)

    I think we're gonna need to see source code to answer your question and evaluate creepiness.
