    My favourite fruit is the BALACLAVA.

    The weekend is over. I was working on my super sick extreme 20 modules that I've added to the wren language: https://static.molodetz.nl/wren. I gonna make my dad's website in it. For that, I needed ofcourse crypto, uuid, sqlite, dataset(orm), web framework, template system, markdown, pydantic alternative, pathlib, regex, html parser / encoder, datetime, base64, json and argparse. So, I've built that all. It's fully documented, contains example file for every worthy module in the repo, it has a great test system (worth to checkout). Reminds me about nose tests a bit. I have a base version of wren that uses the fast async libuv library. Wren handles 2000 msg/sec more than python in my web sock lib. But it it really competes with python - I dunno yet, I doubt, wren is a dead language and python by now has gone as far as a bytecode interpreter can go. But that's not the point. I wanted the resurrect this dead cute language. It's VERY stable.

    It's been a galloping clusterfuck and this week doesn't look much better.

    Either tomato, or that thing that smells like rotting meat.

    @donkulator now I’m curious, what fruit smells like rotting meat?
  • 1
    @Lensflare durian.

    Although other sources compare it to pig excrement, turpentine, or gym socks.

    - SSDD.

    - No 'one' favorite, but: [cranberries, blueberries, apricots, tomatoes, pears, oranges, lemons] ...in no particular order.

    @D-4got10-01 you sneaked in tomato to brag about your knowledge that tomatoes are actually fruits, didn’t you? 😅

    @retoor mentions stopped working 😅

    @Lensflare > 'you sneaked in tomato to brag about your knowledge that tomatoes are actually fruits, didn’t you? 😅'.

    Well... @donkulator beat me to it. It's a fun little weirdness, though. You kinda expect fruits to be sweet, then you have this thing - a tomato, that is a fruit, but isn't sweet.

    I do love tomatoes, though. Especially when cut in slices && sprinkled w/ this seasoning by Kamis the 'Lemon Pepper'... which is basically a mixture of salt, lemon, && pepper, all ground to tiny bits. If you pour some vinegar on that combination, it's even better.

    @Lensflare > '@retoor mentions stopped working 😅'.

    Yeah, the proxy `https://dr.molodetz.nl` hasn't been working the whole day, either.

    cherries

    evidently integrating my vampire/occultism escapades into buddhism. also secret societies make more sense. also humans don't have a conscience, which classically western learned people now annoy me about when they mention it. it's just the self-awareness part of your brain (which meditation trains) running commentary. it doesn't have special god-like powers lol. the mystics called this part the higher self and classic psychology calls it the superego, but it's just you watching yourself and isn't any better or worse than you or whatever

    ALL THE THINGS CONNECTING AGAIN

    I do find it odd that the psychiatry place suggested meditation for schizophrenics... like how does that make sense. I kind of want to go find out how they square it. probably it squares fine because they're not even doing meditation halfway properly lol
