Oh, another devRanter struggling with Tinder. I also have one “person” that “likes” me. (But no matches 😐) It happened to me once before and I actually paid for Premium/Gold (got money back later) and guess what, no f&@!*cking “secret liker”. Probably just Tinder fishing for money.

@mossesandberg no need to pay for dating apps, u just have to use a strategy of very specific pics that i created and you will get 50+ matches and at least half of that active chats

@SukMikeHok what's your strategy? I was thinking of bulking up a little for some tinder pics.

I'm surprised that i managed to get few matches with my current pics.

@HoloDreamer I have tinder as well but this sometimes happens because your range is to low. Set it to a higher value and try to swipe again.

Btw, I think ghosting is also a necessary skill to learn in tinder.

Got matched with a girl who had pic showing 1/4th of her face. She was hesitant to show full pic in tinder and later led me to her WhatsApp where she revealed full face. Guess what, she looks totally different and not what appeared to be from the 1/4th pic.

My option is either to say it straight I'm not attracted to her and be rude or just ghost.

Thinking of blocking her on WhatsApp and unmatch on tinder without saying a word. But I'm kind of worried if that would trigger her to witch hunt me. People can be crazy.

Any thoughts?

@HoloDreamer Difficult situation, I'm not sure but these are my thoughts:

She basically deceived you by not showing her picture. Just be honest and say that you don't like that and break the contact. But indeed I don't think it's smart to also say that you're not attracted to her anymore because that will certainly hurt her more.
