Ok, today we are going to create x using x and we are going to use code::blocks as our ide

*Closes tutorial video and continues searching*

Anyone else just have an indescribable hate for code::blocks or just me?

What interest you is the code and solutions, the weird tools the guys uses should not matters.

That's the theory. But I obviously close tuto when the guy uses tools that I hate or consider stupid / too old / wtf

Any reason you hate it ? I lean into "like it" Zone.

@wowotek idk to be honest, I used it once and ever since have never wanted to touch it again and just had an unexplainable hate for it

Can't say I have a problem with codeblocks but I do despise tutorials that require a specific IDE just because they like using its tools (unless the tutorial is about the IDE of course).

If you know your language you can use notepad if in a pinch.

I feel a similar hate and tend to tune out when I realize that the author of this or that server tutorial uses nano 🤔

I only really use it because it's simple and minimal, never really need the super fancy stuff of vim and the like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@lxmcf you might wanna check out micro (on github), its nano but not a pain to use
