Realized I hadn’t subjected you guys to cat photos.

The brown cat is Robert Lazarus (the rescue named him Bob) and the white and brown cat is Dylan Thomas (rescue named him Dylan).

Bobcat died as a kitten (thus his middle name) and was brought back to life, but was blind for a bit as a result. According to legend, Tomcat acted as his seeing eye cat when he wasn’t able to see on his own. Bobcat’s vision’s better now (though he still might have some issues as he’s a little iffy on balance sometimes), but the rescue didn’t want to separate the two of them since they were a bonded pair.

Loads of people wanted Tomcat but didn’t want to take a chance on a zombie cat. Which I’m constantly thankful for because they’re awesome. Even if they steal my keyboard and try to eat my notes and try (and succeed) to jump on me while I’m trying to cook because they want to play with the feather toy that’s been hidden (not so well!) on top of the fridge and know it’s their best shot at getting up there.

What is it about cats and bags? My mom made some prints of all my animals to give me for christmas this year. Said she snapped this one when she was dropping some stuff of one day.

The basket was what she brought the stuff in. The photo was after she turned back around from putting the last of the stuff up.

Just for clarity, no, the cat was not brought in with the bag or as part of the afore mentioned stuff, she has been very much a resident here for quite some time now.

    And @AleCx04: me too 😭

@M1sf3t I honestly don’t know. Tom loves bags, though. For some holiday, I was gifted something from Amazon that came in one of their gift bags with one of those drawstrings on them. Tom hopped in, Bob found a way to cinch the bag closed, and boxed him in the face repeatedly through the bag until Tom got rescued.

@AmyShackles @M1sf3t I'd say that it must be the same with boxes, i.e. easier to retain heat and that limits their surrounding in case of an "attack". (Could be wrong, though)

Your cats are beautiful, by the way! I don't get how anyone could not want a "zombie" cat, I mean, he still has eight lives remaining!

@Jilano Right? I mean, look at his little face.

@AleCx04 and @Root did you know that there are some cat breeds that do not cause allergies? I also am allergic to cats but see what lives with me 😊This is Cornish Rex (Doris). You may also want to look for Devon Rex or Skrillex Rex - generally whole Rex family :)

@AmyShackles He looks so proud, like he already knows that he's better than me! Haha

@Jilano They both end up photographing that way on occasion. Though it’s usually just that they’re tired of me snapping photos of them. Example:

Those cats are gorgeous! I've always loved long haired breeds like these

@fonfi If I got a cat, it would be a bengal, savannah, or serval 😻

So this is late but KitKat would be pissed if I only left that wal-mart photo up amongst all these other gorgeous felines...

and then of course there’s Elvis who sometimes thinks he’s a cat...

@AmyShackles that sounds about right, the day I found kitkat I was in an old barn pulling a pump off the side of a tractor. She of course wanted to hop up in my lap to see what was in the hole. I just did grab her before she jumped in and took an oil bath πŸ˜‚
