My computer is so out of date at this point, I measure compile time by the amount of times I can spin around on my chair, I'm at 48, if I get to 50 I think something magic might happen.

nope. you have to get it down to 42. that's where the real magic should happen

If we assume that a single spin takes 5 seconds, that gives us mere 4 minutes of compilation time. When I was a young dev, the first project I worked on took 38 minutes to compile. And doing anything on the computer during that time, increased the compilation time exponentialy.

So cheer up, computers get faster and compilators get multithreaded ;)

...Now I'm waiting for a comment from someone who had to wait 1h+ for each compile :)
