devs30816y@NeedsMoreDivs if a program does not take any arguments, it might just execute, rather than failing and saying it doesn’t recognise the argument

Parzi88336yI try "-?" first due to DOS usage. I do this even in linux.

Or a Cisco 800 series router, where the ? Operator makes it show the help for whatever you typed up to that point without pressing enter
