Google announced that android apps could run on Chrome Os as a native desktop applications. To be honest, as an android developer I'm too happy about this! Do you think it will boost up chrome book sales. Maybe, Chrome OS is becoming a mainstream OS? What do you think about it?

@rajilsaj Yeah, but you can easily install Linux on Chrome book as a secondary OS. And, yes, if Android+ChromeOS will be united system for desktop and mobile - that would be great!!!

@rajilsaj Yes, this seems to be fragile concept. But most of android apps gives us opportunity to stay offline, because most of them have their local data storages.

@SanchelliosProg you aren't wrong about android apps but if chrome could migrate offline it would be great

Don't get me wrong, I'm a big Android fan. The diversity and the capabilities of Android are amazing. But it would take long for them to overtake Windows. Probably because of the immense amount of gamers in the industry. Also, executables. What file formats does Chrome OS support?

@masterakay Yes, you are right. But if web assembly will success, then web-based operating systems will have a great chance to start a revolution in computing. Anyway, I quitely shure that Chrome OS supports all file formats which Linux supports, because it is based on Linux.
