Brand new xps 15 9570 - i9, gtx1050 ti, 4k.
2 days old, and uncontrollable screen flickering. How is it {{current year}} and dell still pull this bullshit on their fucking flagships

@ajit555 it with Windows, but I think the problem is the machine itself. There are a lot of complaints about that particular laptop in the forums.

i heard so many horror stories about screen flickering on this very specific dell model and now i hear it from you again. why the fuck did u buy it if u knew the shit is broken? do u regret wasting 5000$?

@ajit555 I don't have that one. I use an older Acer Aspire V5 that has Win 10 Pro and an AMD A10 APU. Runs great! I also have an Acer Aspire One that had an Intel Atom CPU with CentOS 7 on it. Also runs great!

@SukMikeHok no regrets yet - and it cost me less than half that.
Seems to be sorted now after manually installing all the drivers.
Talking to dell support, it sounds like their own driver detect utility doesn't work, and their sccm driver package is out of date!
