I once paid close to $50 for a 512MB flash drive. This was when the norm was a 1.4MB floppy.
This was probably in the early 2000s.
But it had a blinking LED and everything! -

I had one with 8MB capacity. I had named it 'Tenzin' after my friend who had gifted it to me.
