athlon173226y@Stuxnet well friend of mine recommended that specific one... It was just 3€ tho, so not a big deal

athlon173226y@Stuxnet not always, but yeah - it happens a lot. Also next time I'll just go to some shop so they'll apply that glass for me.

athlon173226y@Jilano Well I wouldn't buy smartphone, or laptop for sure from AliExpress. I was thinking about getting the SSD from AliExpress, but after a while I realised that it may be USB 2.0 pendrive in SSD case...
But the dev stickers which I got from there are great! -
Conrad7536yI got some microSD-cards from AliExpress, they work perfectly fine… Recently ordered a foldable bluetooth keyboard (USB-rechargeable), hope it works well when it arrives.
But my screen protector which I got from Amazon for 10€ also has this stupid black line around the edge. Makes scroll bars invisible... But otherwise it feels like good quality and resists scratches/fingerprints, in-screen fingerprint scanner works. So it's not just AliExpress -
@thestR- Oops I was thinking about Wish lmao.
AliExpress isn't a lot better, but it's not as bad. -
Be happy you don’t have bended edges. There is literally no good glass. I tried 3 of them, RIP 90 euros.
-
athlon173226y@lamka02sk every hour I start thinking more and more how huge waste of time that glass was. I don't know if I should keep using that glass and hate using my phone, or say fuck it and pray nothing happens.
-
Conrad7536y@lamka02sk mine has bent edges, and apart from the black border I am very satisfied. Haven't found a good replacement yet tho, they do seem hard to find

Conrad7536yUpdate: The keyboard from AliExpress arrived, so far seems okay. Due to being foldable, the key layout takes a bit to get used to because they had to squish some keys to make space for the hinge. There are no lags in the response time and I didn't have to recharge it yet. Only problems are that very rarely letters are typed twice or not at all, and that you have to press fn+shift+^ for escape (without the shift it goes to the home screen, could be swapped. Escape is nore important tto me), because they had the glorious idea to merge the number ow with the function key row.
For the price of 25,66€ that is actually prety good, considering that for 20€ all you get in an electronics store is a flimsy thing that waits half a second before it sends your keystrokes, is powered by one AA battery instead, not rechargeable via USB, has shitty bluetooth and dies on you within a couple of weeks.

So I got this tempered glass from AliExpress on my OnePlus 6, and I gotta say... It's a piece of shit.
The glass itself has that weird black bezel and because of that, it steals some of my screen on left, right, top and bottom. It's mildly frustrating. Plus the glass itself doesn't feel smooth, but rather a bit harsh.
