they produce magazines and they do it by letting journalists send individual word files by email. Instead of using a redaction system. That's the desktop publishing equivelent of doing code version control via email instead of git.

Also no paid overtime because they don't clock in (illegal) and they start at 8am sharp, no flex time.

@M1sf3t Doesn't matter. I'm on federal unemployment insurance. That means I have to do at least 12 job applications a month or the job agency cuts the pay for non cooperation. So I have to apply to every job out there. Even the shitty ones.

But yes I know a thing or two about publishing. I'm a trained prepress desktop publishing operator. And not having an automated magazine publishing solution was ok in the 90ties. In 2019 to operate like this, is bad. Whatever... Neeeext! 😄

Take a shot of adrenaline straight through the sternum, hook your nipples up to jumper cables and the largest AMP car battery you can find, and run a marathon followed by an ice shower.
