Its ok man it happens. Not everything might be lost.
Cheer up and don't lose hope yet :) -
stackiox5486yIt happens many times when impato cause these types of effects,
Hope for the best,
As they like you then most probably they would accept your apology and everything will be settled, try to be more patient -
@stackiox I hope so. I really need to be more patient. Now I'm waiting on the decision from CEO. I'm not gonna even text him about it(as I usually do). I still can't believe I did that tho. Thanks, bro.

Hang in there. If they liked your code before and the CTO has any pull with the CEO it will be alright.

appmaker3936yI believe everything happens for a good reason. When I was finding a new job, i got this interview scheduled and when the day came, i just didn’t want to go to the interview because I wasn’t sure if I wanted to make the change. My wife pushed me and I woke up, got ready lazily and drove to the interview following every speed limit as I could. I even got a call from the interviewer asking me what happened. I carelessly replied - Yeaa I am stuck in traffic, i’ll be there soon. I mean who talks like that to your interviewer lol. As soon as I entered their office and realized their culture and work environment, I wanted the job very badly as I felt really good being there along with the work they were doing. Since that moment I started doing my best to win the interview. Guess what? I am working there now and happy as ever. I now think it has been the best decision ever. Things happen for a reason. That’s what I believe in. Stay strong.

Just leaving a comment because I wanna see what's gonna happen.
I hope you get the job mate... sounds like a good company. -
bols597746yAt the very least you've viewed your impatience from a point that you saw its impracticality. That's a big deal. I have learned to curb my impatience after fucking up major. Go easy on yourself. We think we're all growed up when something like this happens. Stay strong, put it into perspective, but above all, don't beat up on yourself.

VaderNT16176yDon't blame yourself so much. A whole month without a response really is unusually long. In such a situation it's perfectly fine to ask; for all you know, their offer could've got lost in the mail.
And please do let us know how things went. If this is a really awesome company, they might even apologize along the lines of "sorry, we screwed up by taking too long". -
@bols59 Thanks for the kind words, but I still do. I think like, "why would I send that? I'm such an idiot." But, I'll try...
-
bols597746y@DivSyntax my experience is I make the same mistake thousands of times and then realize what I'm doing. It's *applying* the knowledge and changing your behaviour that's the hard part.

UPDATE: CEO Passed on giving me a second chance. 😞 But the CTO is still trying to get me back in. I feel bad for doing this to him.
Thank you devz for all your support.

Have u ever had the perfect job opportunity and u screwed up? This idiot just did!! 😓😭 It's a 100% remote c# role. I literally had the job, all I needed to to was be patient and wait. But, noooooo I had to go and turn down the offer because it was "taking to long". He was getting the proposal ready and I was growing impatient. It's been almost a month since I started talking to the CTO and we were/are on the same level of understanding. He told me today just hours after I consulted with someone who's a business owner and he helped me write an apology to him. Man do I feel like an idiot. He didn't ask for a resume or references. Just seen my GitHub and a few game I did and let me talk to the lead Dev and I was in. The lead Dev even told me "welcome aboard, can't wait to work with you." AND I still screwed this op up!! Now he's telling me he will talk to the CEO and see what he says cause it maybe out of his hands.😞😞😞😞😞😭😭😭😓😓😓 What fool I am, eh??? P.S. which makes it even worst is that he reached out to me via LinkedIn without me sending him my resume or applying for any job that had posted.
