Does anyone know of any patches to make the android UI more responsive. Like the iPhone just better? I really think that would be the patch to ruin apple for good!

Is that really necessary? Wouldn't getting a google OS in that case be better? Also that's not very programmer thinking of you... :P

@Eror130 if "getting a Google OS" is installing a custom ROM, buy a Nexus. I always had issues with custom ROMs for other manufacturer's phones, and custom ROMs can't do magic with your device.
Buying a Nexus 6P was one of my best decisions of my life.

So what youre basically saying is tjat it's not physically possible to enhance the response of my Samsung Galaxy 7s?

Without of course, altering the hardware?

@Eror130 TouchWiz (The Samsung's skin) is the worst cancer on Android. Slowdowns the phone a lot.
Also, you can't use custom ROMs on the S7. The US version (Qualcomm) has the bootloader locked, and the international version (Exynos) has one of the worst SoCs on terms of documentation. Building a custom ROM for it is a pain, and never will be 100% stable and functional.

If you haven't flashed a custom ROM, you'd be surprised at the benefit of having the cruft removed that manufacturers put on to "add value" to the phone. Go ASOP or custom ROM if you can or Nexus. Also going from 4.3 to Android 6+ feels like going from XP to 10. It's not quite OSX (iOS) feel but it is a huge improvement.

Yea anyone that doesn't use a custom ROM needs to see the light... But one thing I never understood is why do people pay $700 for a phone they could get for $400 and doesn't come with bloat warehouse (One Plus, ZTE) ?
