Devs can hardly stand testers but both of them are an integral part of the development process...

I think that doesn't make sense. Obviously when you worked hard on your code and tested it yourself and it still comes up with issues you might be disappointed/angry at first. But after that it is an opportunity to learn and get better. Both parties are just doing their jobs as intended and it seems childish to take this personal.

I would love to have tester at work.

In both relationships some amount of screwing is inevitable.
