Yesterday I decided to use Vim 8.0. Took me an hour to properly figure out all the configure options before compiling, but it worth it, all my colleagues are jealous now.

how to configure vim? add Auto- complete function to vim

As I use neocomplete plugin for completion, I had to build with lua support (the tricky part is that I also had to give the lua prefix when configuring). Others plugin does not require lua, but I am really fond of neocomplete.
