does anyone else's boss get pissed off when you can't fix printers/ internet/phone issues? somehow being a Web developer makes you have a special connection with technology apparently

yep one job I had required me to troubleshoot and support pretty much anything that had a plug. Computers, servers, copiers, alarm system, telecom, coalatting machine, bulk mailers, audio system, security system all while still meeting deadlines.

My friend insists full stack means I have to program his dehumidifier.

Sometimes I get calls in the middle of the night like that the printer is not working and they need tot print these files before this morning.

Okay I developed your website, but how does this make me your IT departement in the middle of the night.

PS: the client was a small company of 3 people, so guess I truly was the closest they got to an IT departement.
