It's now. The last few months. I'm starting to think I might have to leave developer's career [fucking broken messenger heads.. Made me post this rant prematurely]. I'm starting to feel that I have so much more to offer than just write code, solve minor problems by moving miniature blocks here and there.

As for now I've moved to Performance Engineers. Will see how that turns out. But I have a feeling I won't feel like staying there for long either.

    Honestly I'm afraid that this will happen to me one day if I'll have to work with commercial software...

    Have you ever thought of moving to CS research/scientific software?

    @dmonkey science doesn't pay much :)

    Performance Engineering is usually a great area. But what they have in store for YOU matters the most

    You do sysadmin stuff too right? I do business with a sysadmin freelancer from Vilnius, so I guess you can connect with similar people, right?
