WPF is the best GUI rendering system available on Windows, and allows backends of c++, c#, visual basic, or any of the .NET languages. With benefits including small data footprint, high performance, and relatively low memory usage, WPF is an option that all developers should at least consider.

It's an incredible technology that should generate more interest, but unfortunately, the "Chromium everywhere" revolution has overshadowed WPF.

I liked WPF, always felt like Android's UI XML were "like WPF, only I preferred WPF". Haven't used it (or C# for that matter) in a long time, considering I now work mostly with Python, C++ and Rust, and that nowadays cross platform is one of my deal breakers, so I rely on Qt for the rate times I need UI
