Sad but true, for some recruiters I came across they consider JSON as important as, for example a front end dev knows how to make a responsive web page ...
Though if saying REST API it should mean you can work with json without issues -
What does it mean to 'know' json, xml, toml or yaml though? Like, I know how to write it and I know a few serializers in different languages , does that mean I 'know' them?

novi1646yI love how comments go exactly like my thought process about this problem. It's started as a joke. But after, it doesn't look like a bad idea after all.

cprn17566yJust mention it next to CSV, e-mails, seding e-mails, receiving e-mails, deleting e-mails, the web, using mouse, clicking, double-clicking, the computer screen of course, the keyboard and the bit that goes on the floor down there - the hard drive. It will make you seem like you know your stuff.
Cheers for professionals who got the reference. -
@rutee07 @rEaL-jAsE I think that's fine, but at some point you want to apply for jobs that don't hire bot recruiters to hire you

kytes356y@M1sf3t Well, I've got many things to show off in my CV, but honestly, I always like to write this kind of "random" stuff in the "hobbies" section.
When I was admitted in my last internship, they said to me that, besides the knowledge and experience, loving cooking ensures them that I will have "no problems" to survive by myself in the place where I was going to stay (outside my home country).
Of course, this remark was totally unexpected to me!
What I want to say is that, as long as you have still space in your 2-pages CV, just put there whatever you know/like to do. Maybe another one also uses json, but if I had to decide between them I would choose the one that has it written in his/her CV :)
btw no, we don't have many cookouts here hahahah -
I'd say no. If it were me looking at that CV it'd just look like you were trying to pad it out with generic stuff.

If you want to demonstrate you know json, simply write your resume as a json document.
Then to show you know XML, include some data elements as XML documents.
