GROUP POLICIES.
It's like the /etc folder in linux but with more clickyclickyinterfacy. There you can configure pretty much anything people are so annoyed of. -
@nitwhiz Even better, there is an official Microsoft document with the mapping GPO -> Registry entry, together with the requirements of the Windows version.
Some of the setting of the GPOs could be applied to Home editions as well by directly writing the registry entry. -
jeeper59685yThis whole episode with Cortana has been baffling anyway. It only kind of made sense when windows phone existed. Even then it she should have been contained to her own app and process. I recently set up some Win Server 19 and I blocked that bitch at the firewall
