arekxv10528yAlso should be obvious but no bashing 9-to-5-devs please. :)
Its everybodys choice how they work. Just wanna see how many go more than usual work :) -
arekxv10528y@orijin I am actually quite okay with that. If I had family and kids I too would do things differently. I guess it's priority thing. The thing which mostly bugs me with some devs is no responsibility. They put themselves on the clock and when its over they almost run for it. It doesn't matter if the bug is fixed correctly or if that fix is needed today. They make a Pull Request and run the hell outta here. If you dont look at it at that exact moment, you probably wont be able to contact them for few hours at least or even that day.

orijin20208y@arekxv i get where you're coming from. those kind of devs bug the hell out of me too. not only that they run, but that they don't even show a slightest bit of interest to learn new things.
my latest endevaour took me a year to make the company i work at to switch to git from svn. some kept complaining because they were comfortable with one branch and resolving daily merge conflicts. switching to git would have to make them move their braincells a bit in the other direction i guess?
now, after a forceful switch to git, you really don't want to see that gitlog :D
if that's what you meant by 9-5, hell YEAH they bug me too!!

How many of you are here which truly care about code and don't like that there are standard 9-to-5-devs out there?
