Remote. SSH, as opposed to... local SSH?

@retnikt Actually "Remote" is the collective name of a group of extensions, so it's just a prefix:
Remote SSH
Remote WSL
Remote Containers

My only issue with Remote WSL is that it makes me reinstall my extensions for some reason, and my company's proxy/firewall is making that difficult now. For regular VSCode running in Windows, I just had to turn off strict SSL in the settings, but it's still not working when I launch from WSL.

this is a very complicated version of ssh + vim

@RenoX make it more complex by using the Vim that runs in VS Code

@ViRaS how is the remote editing in general? Is it easy to do/get started up with? I’m a noob when it comes to ssh

@Bubbles The remote editing works fine except for the files which require sudo permission.
There is no provision yet to update them from the editor so you'll need to edit them in the terminal.
