At what age did you first land your coding job?

    18, minimum wage.
    Just because i missed the entry date for university and had to get money somehow.

    Still employed there while studying. But not for minimum wage anymore of course :D

    * Permanent job contract at age 17 or 18

    I was 29. This was also my first actual full-time job.

    Full time job 40h work week 23 years old.
    I did it because I didn’t have money to live like I want.
    Part time at about 15-16 years cause I didn’t have money to do what I want.

    Money sucks...
    No money sucks more...

    24. Been a dumbass up until got introduced to it. But fell in love and got pretty good at it fast.

    21, back in 2009/2010. Seriously undercharged but does make sense as I had zero work experience back then. Completely self taught, I have worked as a developer ever since, today earning more than enough, and just became a consultant at the start of this year. Life is good! And to everyone who said I'd become nothing without uni. Well look where I'm now =)
    Hard work and passion really pays off.

    Not yet (24), but I landed my first sysadmin (Linux) job at the age of 22.

    I was nearly 24 when I got my first coding job (a little over a year ago). Was doing insurance at the job before. Best career change I could have ever asked for.
