Day #01 of my brother's switch to Linux:

So far so good, he's really happy with the Linux (surprisingly). The Witcher 3, Payday 2, Minecraft run flawlessly, although I had to make some small configurations in disk mounting, because of the fact that the games disk is still in NTFS file system

Could your brother have run Linux without free, dedicated IT support?

@platypus could he? No. The same goes for Windows tho. He's not really tech-savy, heck, I had to help him with restoring the setting on his iPhone 6S from iCloud, so he's not a really good test subject.

If he can't even manage iOS, he will not be able to do so with any other.

But when I showed him how to install themes to Gnome, he instantly jumped on the hype!
