I understand how you feel though, I want to get out of there even when it's not my turn

Unless you are one of those people who wait until after all the items have been scanned before bagging them and getting your card out, or insist on trying to engage the checkout operator in some inane conversation, I really don't care about you and your shopping

You are not alone.
I intentionally look for the supermarkets that is not too crowded, even if it's further away from the nearby store that is always full of people.

I just want to shop peacefully without having other people surround me (my personal space is : 2 m)
