Doing dev work in Belgium in an office without air conditioning and a
room temperature of 38°C (100F).. just impossible to focus.. in the car I almost burnt my fingers using the steering wheel and gear stick. Some of you guys have had similar experiences (temp? Location?), for me it's a first..

Just entered my car in Prague, which was on sun whole day (35C), who needs a sauna when you have one of these? 🐧

Yes. Here it got to 40+ a couple of weeks ago, and 35+ is a daily thing.
We are full AC country - so we deal with it....

I just sat in the office, feet on the table, and was thinking about not getting done anything after 3 PM.

At least, I don't have a car, and the bus had AC.

I've gone to the dark side, they have air-conditioning 😏

Work has A/C too, full blast, seems to work fine. Just when I go outside, I'm having effects of the temp difference xD

Luckily I've been getting rides to work this week, gotta love random le dad suddenly being at the door when you're not expecting the dude...

There was some rain for me yesterday, and I've been able to sleep, even with the nightly heat, even earlier than I otherwise would. Weird..

There's not been a (really) hot summer like this for a few years now, here in Belgium... Then again, we don't really have really cold winters like we used to have in the 1900's either...

    Earth is dazed 'n confused

My office has airco, and the car park is below the building, so the car is in the shadow. Car also has airco. My flat is on the ground floor with 4 floors up top, so it stayed comparatively cool these days.

However, I can relate… last month on holidays in Italy I had a black rental car, had to park it in the sun in some town because no space in the shadows, and all the Gianduiotti chocolates we had bought melted and clumped together into an unrecognizable mess…
