If you ever have the pleasure of teaching kids (perhaps because they chose to stay home and pretend to be sick) teach them math.

Specifically teach them division. Have them divide 22/7.

Let them keep going until they ask 'when do we stop?'

And when they do, tell them: "you don't. It's an irrational fraction."

Um. A rational number is defined as a number that can be written as P/Q, where P and Q are both integers and Q != 0
22/7 is rational.
It has a repeating decimal form, basically 3 + 1/7 so 3.(142857) where the stuff in parens repeats.
