Short : I'm in a situation where I fucking hate to go to office everyday because the business team thinks I'm their bitch

Long : Exactly one year ago I joined this small company, few months ago all the senior devs started working on revamping the old shitty ERP they have into new one.They put me in charge of taking care the support for a project we work before.Now fucking asshole from the BA team sit on my shoulder every day and forcing me to do anything he thinks he want.Right now I'm doing a data migration from massive excel files from client. It's in a shitty format I asked help from senior devs they said it's impossible to import this shit.But my asshole team lead also support that BA fucker.

I can't sleep everyday normally because of stress.My notice period (relieving period) is 3 months.I just feel like every end of day I wanna kill all those motherfuckers

    Ask to see the org chart.

    After that and they still make you do it.. do it, but slowly and painfully.. make them wait until they decide there are easier ways of getting their crap done.

    Export it to csv and have some python script parse it?

    It depends.
    Is it for a potential sale ?
    In our starting package we include data import from Excel. Usually these are shitty formatted Excel files with no real structure. We limit our time at 2 days. If we can’t import it, we just send them an estimate for more work.
    But there is a real value to do it. Users are more inclined to stay on the platform if they already have their data.
    We even have our own middle ware now for that shit.

    @Wisecrack I was meant to say that the excel file columns doesn't match any normal colum or English word in the database. And a file has more than 20 columns and 6000 + rows. I have provided a ui for them to map themselves excel column with db column there are totally 3000 + files so far they have uploaded 150. Somehow I got escaped from doing some machine ninja shit.

    If they're that desperate then thats instant job security broski.

    They need you. You could likely pull off a negotiation for a higher salary and if they say no then you respond with "well shit, I don't know if I can justify the effort to complete this project on time at my current salary."

    @Wisecrack I already put my resignation letter and Im on my notice period. Team lead trying to convince me to stay by offering a good salary hike but I don't wanna work with this assholes anymore. On the other hand I'm broke but I'm gonna stay with my ego this time. Because this is my first job I believe I can get a better one.

    @codefreak

    No, no, no. TAKE the offer.

    Heres why: They'll resent it (which is a win), and you can rightfully claim at your next employer that "THIS higher number was my salary."
