So VS Code, you're using ~60% of my CPU and I've let you do that for around 1/2 hour now. Why do you do this? I know your brother can do this as well, but he does have some valid reasons unlike yourself. You're just a glorified notepad with some extensions.

    Maybe it's a shitty extension. It shouldn't do that normally, even for large projects.

    Anytime this shit isn't posted with a screenshot of resource usage, god kills a toddler.

    Resource monitor?
    Also extension list?
    Also, current project size loaded up for intellisense to index?
    Also.... PC specs?

    60% of a 1.2Ghz 1core cpu is all I can assume right now

    vsCode has made great lengths to reduce the electron footprint, but you can easily undo that.

    @arcsector There's no god, so it's fine. Still, I agree with your point.

    @C0D4 Are you from MS tech support?

    @theuser nope, just very use to dealing with vague "bug" reports 😅

    @kamen be careful not to cut yourself on that edge, M'intellectual

    Have you tried turning it off and on again?

    ... do you know how much overhead it costs to run a fully extension-based architecture?

    @kamen 🙄
