ant0ny355yI have a Asus zenbook that ticks all those boxes except the drive size but I bought an ex display model so didn't get a choice on drive size. Super thin and lightweight too.

Lappies, and computers in general, are cheaper in the US than in India. So the prices would be significantly different for similar laptops.
Better to mention INR so people search in the appropriate markets. -
@cst1992 It had nothing to do being dumb or dev. I kept currency generic because I wanted everyone to contribute. Moreover, I am located in Canada, so have access to North American market.

@Jilano occasionally using adapter is fine, things like wireless mice or keyboard would need to be Bluetooth, increasing complexity and compatibility for connecting multiple Bluetooth devices simultaneously. Earphones as such

- Atleast 8 gigs of RAM and option to upgrade
- resolution >= full HD
- storage >= 256 GB SSD
- battery >= 6 hrs heavy chrome usage
- Linux compatibility
- Cpu- nothing heavy - browser and docker containers, no building or compiling
