Time, 'results' are vague and don't justify the amount of thinking/crying/suffering when debugging 1 line of code

I get payed the same every month, regardless of time nor results...
Sometimes a bit more for special events but that's non of my business.

I'm a student so I get hourly. Still a fantastic deal

Hourly and anything work related - is paid. This includes meetings, discussions while smoking, even driving to clients

Paid by time (7.5 hours a day), but my pay would soon drop dramatically if the results weren't there

@nibor I was paid like that in a previous job... We've taken a legacy code and well... Managers expectations were ultra-high (he assumed that I'll get into the project within a week). Three weeks passed, I did some small tasks and assumed that things go well. Took on a bigger task and was researching/debugging/trying for the next week or so. When the payment came - it was around 40% of our agreed payment due to "didn't meet expectations.". That was the day I left that company and went on my ways.

@Krokoklemme depends where you live. Where I'm from - 2.5 eur is minimal wage so making 10 an hour is already 4 times over

@Nanos Probably, or you are just a CEO or something that doesn't get paid :P We've all been there :D

@Nanos Yeah, exactly :) This is normal and to be fair - I can fully understand everything that goes in that. So I wish you the best of luck there!
