Backups is the most important thing, but there is something more important then that. Making sure your actually backing up the files your paying to back up. Now im stuck waiting on 4 2tb drives in raid 6 connected over sata 2 to be recovered because a raid card failed but the drives are still good. Estimated time over 3 days.

    @icycrash you've got away cheaply to be honest, could've been much worse lol

    look into cold storage, raid should only be quick access (schedule rotated!) backups and not long term storage.

    @JoshBent How did I get away cheaply. Im paying the price by sitting here watching this because someone didn't do there job right. I only got called in because the other guy screwed up so badly.

    Im going to push for a new Nas to backup to. Then that is going to backup to 3 different sites in 3 different locations. If they don't do what I say im not going to sit here and bale there ass out again. Especially if they let that other idiot back in to work on it after im done fixing this mistake.

    @JoshBent oh yeah im going to probably break 80 hours and I got the extra 40 in just 2 days.

    @JoshBent last week I finished with 88 hours and I clocked in with 70 hours this morning.
