How do the companies you work for store company secrets/documentation? Stuff like bitbucket, GitHub, Google docs?

    We write them down, then nobody can read it.

    @Codex404 So what, all physical ? No shared doc for external API or visual representation of core systems ?

    We don’t write one, that way nobody can leak it

    Our passwords are stored in a keepass DB stored on a local GitHub repo. The password to it is passed around by word of mouth, and is frequently changed. It's also changed whenever someone leaves the team.

    @Cybon you were talking about company secrets. For documentation we use nothing, our deadlines don't give us time to test, let alone keep documentation up to date.

    Honestly that's what I thought before my boss asked us to make docs because pretty much all investors they talked to asked about it as a priority.
