Worst disturbance while working?

People thinking their computer problem justifies them being rude.

I've literally been in the middle of a conversation and someone walks up and hands me their computer and says "can you fix this?". Just because you work 20 feet away from me does not mean I'm your personal IT help.

    I have accidentally dropped things before if people hand me something without prior consent - a quick fix to any issue too, because they might need a new laptop from now on :)

    The question is how did you react? Because you can stop it from ever happening if you decide so.

    @AurumMan79 excellent point. We had just moved to a different office area so we had a lot of new people around. Unfortunately it caught me off-guard and I looked at it anyways.

    Sometimes IT can be too accessible to people.
