Bubbles66125y@heyheni it’s highly possible. I was never tested for anything like that. My teachers always said I prob have ADD or sumn though
-
@Bubbles please, if you think so get tested. because with ADD you get more often fired at the job eventhough you put in 110% effort. With a medical report you've got a reason and can explain your situation.

CptFox16165yDon't know if you live alone, so it might be moot, but the feeling of being watched (even if it isn't the case) usually gets me really productive 😁
-
@heyheni wait people get fired over that?
My company actively hires people with ADD, Autism and other parts of the spectrum. We train the people with autism on a social ground. Where parents and teacher have always said some would never get sarcasm we even got them to use it correctly. So many parents call us to thank us for the effort we put in.
People with ADD on the other hand dont need that much help and are way more patient. All we need to teach them is to be less polite.
I went through that myself (I have ADD) and I've grown so much during my internship. -
@CptFox haha, in school I had trouble making my math homework because it was to easy (why should I do lists of the same question with different numbers week after week, while I am three years ahead of the rest of the class in Math).
As soon as my mother said "make it in the living room" I went from 10 questions in an hour to 3 questions even though my mother saw me "working" constantly.
I only flourished in school after people tried helping me in the final year. I always had grades around 6/10 except in Math which was 9.8/10 on average.
In the final year I graduated with my lowest grade being a 7/10. -
@Codex404 not for having ADD itself but for beeing clumsy, beeing slower than others and not beeing constantly consistant and productive.
ADD is the looser syndrome.
You're too healthy to not to work but to sick to find and hold a job.
And you constantly have to put in more effort than the others just to catch up, and then only to fail to meet the demands. It's very tiring.
I have ADD myself and I've never had a steady job. -
@Codex404 haha thanks 😄
daarvoor moet ik mijn Nederlandse taalvaardigheden verbeteren.... -
@heyheni no you don't, we have employees who only know Russian and English, as well as Italian and English.

I think I’m starting to realize that the source of my procrastination is because I’m too easily distracted in my room. I had to bring my laptop and book out to the living room and I feel like a lot more fucking focused but that might also be the fact I’m not playing music so it could be either? I know location change occasionally is important but I don’t have many places to go to sadly :/
Side note devRant doesn’t help productivity either
