Our workflow:

Is mobile? Serve landing page with links to appstore/playstore and a link to not-responsive-design 1080p-optimized desktop website.

Is desktop? Server 1080p desktop website, tested in Chrome.

Someone complains about website not working in Firefox? I fix it, purely because I like Firefox.

Someone complains about website not working on Safari, Edge, Blackberry, Nokia 3310, Kindle, whatever? I ignore it.

And where is the samsung smart fridge in this one?

@MrCSharp Hell works, or a cry for HELP. Do desktop emulators emulate the differences of the mobile browser. For example, safari desktop versions have different functionality to safari mobile browsers. Resolution isn't the only thing that needs to be tested.
