Yeah I meant microsoft. But I am really annoyed that they are forcing me to choose slightly harder password. If I care about privacy, I would not put my data on GitHub anyways.
-
@aviophile It isn't about privacy but for example someone commiting malicious code using maintainer or creator account and then people not noticing and using that code. At least that is one of the reasons in addition to already mentioned ones.

It's not a bad thing to use a better password, that's true. BUT Windows is a bit too much. Like you can't turn off it's built in anti-virus which does nothing except using 30% of your CPU all the time and blocking a ton of shit which shouldn't be blocked...

Maybe you should calm down a little; Just step back and think about the implications that affect everyone. They aren't singling you out.

What part of MS owns github, does not make Github... MS?
I'm more confused then I was before 😅 -
Root797675yThey pestered me for awhile because of a "hacked" password; I appreciated it. What I didn't appreciate was being pestered about it AFTER CHANGING MY FREAKING PASSWORD TWICE.
This is my first "Fuck you Windows" post. I just got a warning from GitHub that blocks me from using it;
"You must update your password to continue using GitHub.com"
Who the fuck are you? I am risking to be hacked. Why do you care, you just warn me and move on. How dare you block me and force me to use better password.
