Cracked a nut by dropping Laravel framework on it. This framework is fucking heavy.

explain more, I never used php, why need a framework?

Once i have dropped VS on the nut.
It have broken then table.

My friend have dropped node_modules on the nut.
That have created a black hole.

@gkaply532 I am a PHP developer for the last 5 years and i do love writing PHP and Laravel is also a great framework of PHP. We got a lot of things out of the box. For example, You can make an entire user auth by a single command only. But the framework has a lot of unwanted or less used functionality and packages which we got just after installation. That's why I said, it's fucking heavy.

@desirous I also love Laravel. but it'd be better if we have the power to choose the desired packages while installing the framework.

@Gregozor2121 if each node_modules file is a person. they can start a new country by themselves.

@prateektakoria Why not just use Symfony then? Laravel is based on it.
