Why does google do this? It's supposed to be a map, not a fucking travel guide, I want to see the motherfucking map that it so ironically calls itself

    I hate Google as much as the next guy buy among every design I've seen at least their ads are the least in-your-face.

    They certainly pay their UX engineers rather well.

    I don't give a shit about how in-my-face their ads are, by the fifth time I open the view I just don't look there. What I do care about is screen real estate. And for "maps", that's just wild.

    @rIOsK Most of the data that can possibly be collected about me, certainly way more than I myself could remember. I'd expect a map at least 56 square cm in exchange for that.
