I've really tried with DuckDuckGo, but any time I have to look something up quickly, I default to Google. Their search is just better.

I've used ddg for a year now and while most of the time the results are fine I often find myself putting a !g in there. Sometimes the Google suggestions are just better.

But those ddg bangs are worth keeping it as my default search engine

You could maybe try Startpage. It use google search engine, but without the tracking and data collection of Google
