@SortOfTested fun fact: you can also say Rotkohl as it's essentially the same plant/crop?.
It's color depends on certain nutrients and stuff in the soil it's grown on. -

@jelenaljaz Yep, when primary school students in grade 4 visit our school, they usually can take part in various small courses that show them what's going on here.
In the chemistry-lab course, all they do is cut up some Rotkohl or Blaukraut, chop it up and cook it.
The water quickly takes on a certain color.

I had some Propofol on Friday. Luckily, the anaesthetist poured it in rather slowly which gives the coolest effects. ^^
