What mysql client do you use in Mac with Dark mode? Table plus free is good and was thinking on purchasing it but sequel pro have better user experience. Currently no dark mode in sequel pro. Thanks! 😁

    🗡

I typically just use the mysql cli, but I'm really getting tired of typing all the long (and varied) queries. I feel dirty for saying it, but I wouldn't mind a gui since it'll save me effort and time.

Sequel Pro is my favourite, but I'm not sure if it's even maintained anymore... I currently use DBeaver. Haven't found anything better yet.

Not sure about Mac specific, I've always resorted to HeidiSQL but it's windows only unless you use wine or something.

I do enjoy the CLi, but some big ass queries I hate one lining in the console.

@Root there's No reason to feel dirty for using something that's more efficient on a daily basis.
I also just use sequelpro when I'm on a MacBook. I do short quick queries with the cli but when I have use the Database for a Long Time the gui is Just way more pleasant to Work with

I mainly use the cli, but dbeaver is great and works everywhere, it's ugly tho.
Idk if Sequel has a dark theme but it does the job very well too

@sboesch I like dbeaver's ERD feature but it overall it feels slow. I'll just use it for ERD purposes. The data table is not auto commit too unlike sequel pro. Overall sequel pro has the best user experience and table plus for the great dark mode UI.

I hope they release a dark mode of sequel pro
