There's always a moment when your entire codebase starts breaking up piece by piece and you just wonder why did you choose this job, why you are a programmer, why you don't work at a bar or something like that

    So relatable.

    Still, I've thought about working at a friend's bar as a side gig. Maybe when this whole pandemic thing blows over...

    @rutee07 yeah, if I were nice enough I'd probably try being an influencer or something...

    But being a stripper could also do

    @rutee07 I meant being a bartender, but whatever floats your boat...

    I wanna be a drug dealer

    @yellow-dog well, that doesn't really take a lot of time, you might actually do it even while working on whatever else

    @yellow-dog

    Work at medical counter at the super market? You are "drug dealer" in a way.

    @yellow-dog if you really wear an eye patch I'd buy from you 🤷‍♂️

    restaurant and bars have always been the most awful work experiences for me...if it's not the work load it's the customers and if it's not the customers it's my coworkers...standing for 8+ hours running around while making garbage wages is not something I'd ever want to go back to.

    Something something the grass greener

    Rule of the IT #1: avoid customer service jobs if possible.

    Why would you ever consider moving to a gastro equivalent of such position? Especially when serving drunk customers.
