I decided to create this so that my head would not need to look down. I noticed when just putting laptop on my knees my head has to look down and it causes headaches when looking down. So this "desk" make me no need to look down.

The desk has wheels so you can relatively easily move away from bed.

So prototype is done, now this could be improved to look better. Idea for furniture makers - you could do this and sell :)

    Yeah this way helps, nice . I also use a bed table so I do not need to put on knees and watch down .

    Is that a lifting weight you use for balancing out the laptop? I've had great success with encyclopedias, they are considerably less dangerous.

    A lot of the ones on the market are expensive as hell, and theres no *cheap* "affordable" ones on the market that I've seen.

    So there IS demand.

    Incidentally I know a guy with all the necessary skills to make this and his own shop, as well as several others that might come work for him in a pinch.

    If you'd like to part with a lot of money for that convenience, look at altwork.com. These guys have been around for a while now. And it's not the in-bed position that they're offering, they offer a lot of customizable options.

    Yea, I also love buying furniture that requires counterweight heavy enough and high enough to flatten a toe. Cool idea, love making shit like this but don't sell it because even if it would sell, it would be dangerous.

    In the past, I waste a lot of time having to find a quality epoxy for my new office tables. But I ended my searches when find https://onepoxy.com/ and they overwhelmed me with Cures in 24 hours or less. My deadline was not so dead because I get even in time with their production.
